It's also effectively gone on to have its own "Pathfinder" in the form of Pelgrane's excellent 13th Age, which is currently playtesting for 2nd edition and has a few of its own spinoffs from companies using its SRDs - King of Dungeons being a good example. And recently we had Orcus come out, which is even closer to being 4.5e than 13th Age for better or worse.<br /><br />All very small fish compared to what the OGL spawned, but meaningful on a more modest scale. I do have my Wednesday group and could potentially pitch something to them, or at least bounce some ideas off of them.<br /><br />2) I still need to get a handle on the system. I was invited to a Fallout one-shot using that version of the system, so I have a better grasp of the dice rolling, but STA has a "make your own skill" sort of thing that's hard for me to work with. Is something too broad? Too narrow? Too specific? (If my LUG stuff wasn't in storage, I would use it in a heartbeat.)F. I had a nice group of clients, added an old one who came but and a new one who needed me everyday. Then...pandemic.<br /><br />Like you I am now starting over, virtually from scratch. However, it led me to do a little searching and thus stumble across your Adventures in Oz game, the tone, art, lore and mechanics of which I find much preferable.
